The surroundings

Bjerre is surrounded by an exceptionally beautiful and hilly countryside with valleys, and then right outside of Horsens. If you want to know more about the area, one of the town’s good citizens, Eva- Marie, has many good descriptions on her homepage www.123hjemme.dk/eva-marie

Only a few hundred metres away from the farm, you will find the tennis club.

The town has its own good inn where you can eat a good meal at a reasonable price.

The butcher is known for selling good meats which you are very welcome to bring back to the farm and grill on one of our grills.

The nearby city of Horsens is situated very beautifully by Horsens Fiord and known throughout the country for its many cultural events, big concerts and the European Medieval Festival. Distance: about 7 km. There is a bicycle path all the way to Horsens. See more at www.visithorsens.dk

The town of Juelsminde is our cosy, local seaside resort with a quite unique beach, harbour, shopping streets and good restaurants. From the farm, there is about 17 km to Juelsminde. See www.juelsminde-turist.dk
